Denys Wilkinson Building

The Denys Wilkinson Building houses the astrophysics and particle physics sub-departments of the Dept of Physics, and was originally called the Nuclear Physics Laboratory, but renamed the Denys Wilkinson Building in 2001. The large distinctive fan-shaped superstructure was built to house a Van der Graaf generator, and was said to mark the arrival of brutalism in Oxford!

The original is grey concrete, but I’ve jazzed it up a bit, and my 3 colour hand-pritnted screenprint comes in 4 colour combinations.
